Us
Professional
Speech and Language Services,
PLLC, was formed in August,
2007. Our team of therapists
has worked together for
the past 10 years, meeting
the needs of patients and
their families at the Stanley
Speech and Hearing Clinic
of Stephen F. Austin State
University. We served as
faculty members there where
our duties included instructing
and supervising graduate
students in the clinic.
Collectively we total over
80 years of experience
in the field of speech-language
pathology. At this
stage of our clinical careers,
we continue to put
our clients’ needs first
in a nurturing environment
that will equip them with
improved communication
skills.
All
of our therapists hold
master’s degrees in Speech-Language
Pathology and are licensed
by the State of Texas and
certified by the American
Speech-Language-Hearing
Association. We hold Texas
Teacher Certificates in
Elementary Education, Deaf
Education, Learning Disabilities
and Special Education. In addition, one of our therapists is certified in the Lee Silverman Voice Training program for patients with Parkinson disease . Therapists also
hold certificates in the Hanen language stimulation program and the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS).
